   Hey, no worries, and all I can do is echo everyone else's thoughts.

   We all know the P want it sounding like it should, so it only hightens our expectations...and gives us more time to listen to classic P...just listening to 'Carried Away' (vinyl of course) as I write.

   Thes, we appreciate the message...you look f***ed...get some well earned rest!

   Also, good to see Thes supporting an ale on is hoodie...well, I assume it's an ale...can anybody confirm?
   If so, be good to get some in for when it drops...

   Good to see the amount of genuine support on here! There's really a big difference between regular fans (no disrespect intended here) and true supporters and y'all are proving that the ideal and mission of Piecelock 70 are spot on.

   And a BIG thanks for the promise of extra ish - not necessary as an apology but hugely appreciated!

   wish i knew about this before i went half hour outta my way to amoeba, but it is what it is.
   still happy it's on its way, would rather wait a week then receive something PUTS aint 100% proud of.

   I've gotta say, with this delay, next week definitely becomes the best week in hip-hop. Officially released next week is:
   J-Live - S.P.T.A.
   9th Wonder - The Wonder Years
   Evidence - Cats & Dogs
   DTMD - Makin' Dollas
   Blu - Open
   Phonte - Charity Starts at Home
   Madlib - Madlib Medicine Show 12: Raw Medicine (Stones throw mailed them out early but it officially releases the 27th).
   and now People Under The Stairs - Highlighter

   Plus, Poncho Sanchez, Plaid, Apparat, and Wilco release albums that day making it the best week in music. For me at least.

   I'm glad they laid it out how they did. This short delay only emphasizes how much Thes and Double care about the quality of their work, so I don't mind the wait. However, depression is settling in since I expected to be listening to some fresh hip hop today. Haha.

    To be clear - the September 23rd release date has always been digital-only, and Amoeba won't be getting copies of the album until AFTER we ship copies to those who order directly through PL70. While the goal in staging the release like this has been to get the album out regardless of manufacturing delays, we realize that people are accustomed to dealing with one release date, and I think in the future we need to be more clear about this. The issue is that once we start offering the record to stores, retail and online, they start taking pre-orders, so we end up having to take pre-orders as well to give people the option of buying direct.

    Just to reiterate - no matter what, PL70 customers get their orders before anyone else, period.

    got it. i hadnt noticed that part. will promptly download as soon as next thurs/fri hits. already pre-ordered vinyl so between that and the download i can wait for cd copy

    Hello, I just joined the board.
    I've always been an observer of this board, but a long time P-fan! Everyone on this board seems to be real genuine and friendly. Most importantly we all love PUTS!!!

    I agree with everyone in saying that we can wait a few days for greatness. Can't wait to get it in my ears! Come Thursday I'll be clicking the refresh button every 5 seconds until the link pops up. haha

    Welcome aboard, alpha.

    Everyone seems to be fiending for the mp3 download (to the point spelunk mentioned they're gonna send the links out piecemeal to make sure the site doesn't crash ). Am I the only one who's gonna wait to play on vinyl for the first time? I realize this'll make the wait even longer (esp. since I'm from Germany) but I want the whole complete experience of taking the wax from the sleeve, watching it spin and reading the liner notes etc. while listening...

    I also think it's great the P have kept it all under wraps for now. No singles, videos, snippets, press releases or leaks. We get a whole fresh brand new album, not a semi-complilation of songs we've already heard half of somewhere else DOPE!
