As usual, the P end off the album strong with a great string of songs. What are you're thoughts about these tunes?
Mean Spirited: Such an intense beat, dark sounding, Reminds me of grungy, rainy seattle. Crazy Nirvana sitar sh!t going on, anybody have any idea where that's from?? I like double's P-Funk reference "number one Bimini Road" (Mr. Wiggles, motor booty afair)
Sonic Elders- The sh!t. Definitely the sister song to "4 doller afro". got to love that tape delay
WRLA- One of my favorite tracks, Dolla Bill!! Got to be real! "the new album....highlightaaah!!!" "Can you play some Toto?" "Don't be hatin', don't be hip-hop Ill fatin'!!" "the new album is BOSS!" this guy cracks me up. Thes's verse is also pretty good.
Left foot, right foot- Double K produced track, and dope as sh!t
Ambien Hallway music- Recorded at 4:20. Produced by double k. Is this the first time a double k track is the closer?
I like how the intro, when that guy is talking about staying up for 24 hours, then 32, there is this eerie, dark sound that gives you the feeling that something really bad is going to happen, but then it just fades away into the mellow goodness of the song. It's like if you're going through some sh!t, you can always find the comfort of your own bed, sleep is the bliss.
Is this song the best closing track for the P?
