This means absolutly nothing to all of you (unless you remember me talking about it last year?) but its my local pubs annual beer + cider festival, the pubs called "The Black Cock" (an odd name if ever there was one, lol) Anyways, ill report on all the lovely ales from around the UK i try and report back to those who are intrested!

THATS A BEER FESTIVAL!!!!! lol.
I live in Caerphilly just outside Cardiff, its alright.... lol.
The festival had 28 beers and 10 ciders, I only had the friday night unfortunatly so managed what i could, these are the beers i tasted and liked, i tried around 20 beers in total, all in half pints so around 10 pints in total, my notebook i took for writing down my findings looks a bit wreked but the top 5 i tried were: (in no order)
Robinsons Family Brewrey: Cwrw'r Ddraig Aur
Cottage Brewery: Firkin Hurricane
The Hop Back Brewery: Crop Circle
Wye Valley Brewrey: DG Golden Ale
Untapped Brewery: Cwrw Gorslas
Most of these are Pale Ales and all went down smooth, not really a dark ale fan, but there were some nice ones there aswell, good to see theres still a cottage industry for micro brewreys and the bigger boys (like Wye Valey) are still producing some nice ones also.
Anyways, memories of the night were fuzzy, all good!!!!
