I just celebrated my birthday... too much birthday! My sister gave me a MasterCard gift card. I don't have The Next Step or Stepfather on vinyl; does anyone know an online merchant where I might be able to pick new copies up (might be hard to get a new copy of The Next Step)?
Here's where I looked:
- PL70 site
- Amazon
I suppose I could look on EBay/Discogs but then I'd have to pay out of pocket. Any other ideas?

Well, what I can tell you is that OG copies of Next Step are near-impossible to grab (I'd love one meself), but repressings (2xLPs, generic black cover, yellow label... I've got one of these) have gone on sale at discogs and ebay before, I don't think they are currently being sold. You might also check out http://www.om-records.com, but I doubt they've got 'em.Here Comes Treble said:

Stepfather should be a bit easier to find. I've seen them at Ameoba records in SF, and they are probably being sold on discogs right now. I'm not sure if places like Amazon would carry them though...

Discogs. That is the place where I get my more rare vinyls nowadays.

Yep...Discogs is the only real place these days unless you're lucky enough to stumble across a copy somewhere else.

ebay and discogs are probably your best bets if you're looking to buy the albums immediately. Depending on if you want an original pressing of Next Step be sure to ask about the runouts before you buy (there's a thread from a while back with all the info - more comprehensive than discogs IMO).
*edit* Just checked: Stepfather is still available at ughh.com
