a PUTS/Damian Marley album would be sick. Their reggae songs (O.S.T., People Riddum, Reflections) have always been among my favorites so an entire album of that would be super dope
puts in oakland (11/10) & interview questions...

Any plans for Thes to do something commercially with his woodworking skills?

Sac man...you've got to ask that!

Oh, I've been cataloging everything you guys've been asking, and the woodworking thing will definitely be on there. My father does fine woodworking (jewelry boxes and things like that), but he'll only do it as gifts or donations, and I'm like "dad, you could be hawking these things for thousands a pop, man..." If I were him (or Thes), I'd put that sh*t to work, making money for me.

Any other questions, guys? Two days left before the concert!!
(Like I said, there are no guarantees that I'll be able to interview them, BUT I'll try, and last time, they were stoked for the coverage.)

Yeah, I'm actually a little iffy about going by myself too. My wife was going to go with me, but backed out last minute (probably a good thing, she's pretty thick and knows how to dress, so I don't wanna be fighting off homeboys all night... especially that Eddum Chibbum dude).Spitta said:

So, I was also thinking last night that I want to ask them about live drumming. I know they like the breaks, but Double K and Blewfoot are both really good, and I'm sure they have access to cats like Max McVeety from Crown City, so I was wondering why they don't have Blewfoot sit in the studio drum soloing for like 10 minutes, then they go back and find a good break to use from that jam. It would have it's advantages... but maybe it's straying a little TOO far from the "hip hop aesthetic".

Screw what people perceive as a "hip-hop aesthetic" because we see Thes going more with live instrumentation on the Wonderful Radio clips. Interesting to see if The P go more towards a live sound. Imagine getting some actual funk played live and Double K manipulating it in the MPC. That would be dope and a "progressive" sound for them.

Seriously, everyone, thanks for the questions. I'll definitely get them printed up tonight and ready to go for tomorrow. I just hope the homies are up for another interview...
I also just had the most bad-a** idea for tomorrow night IF I can get it set-up and IF the homies are up for it... it'd be a riot. You'll see. I'll keep you posted.

Hey, guys, WILD night. They said it was the best show of the tour so far
I got the interview at the end of the night, 50 min worth, but I got out of the venue at 2:45 a.m., so I just woke up and I'm getting lunch with my lady. I'll definitely get it transcribed and also tell you a little about the night. But yeah, I got five words for you: Empty Bottles of Water LIVE!!!! Thes couldn't even believe it when Double threw it on (they never do it)...
