   So, Idk if its worth putting a thread out about this but you don't understand how LONG i've been looking for this song and idk why I can't find it anywhere.

   So i guess from now on, if you know some lyrics to a song (i can't find it in google search either) or know something about a song your trying to figure out..... post it here! lol

   back to the song im looking for...

   This song was on one of my CDs that I can't find and when i type in the lyrics i get the wrong thing.
   Its a song i can tell is from the early 90s... or MAYBE the late 80s but somewhere around there. SInce there are some older knowledgeable cats on here.. i thought maybe someone may have heard it.

   The lyrics to the chorus are "this goes out to all the players in the hood, up to no gooooood, in the hood" and everytime i type it in, i get Donnell Jones or something and i know thats not it and its an old ass song. I believe the beat sounded something similar to Zapp and Rodgers "computer love" type feel.. but i could be wrong. Any ideas? or how i may be able to find out what it is lol.

   This song fits exactly what you are describing. It's the remix to the Donnell Jones song "In The Hood"

   ahh, no its not it :( Donell Jones im pretty sure took that line from this song.. damn it must have been some unknown song. It was on my sisters CD but she wouldn't remember she made it in the 90s i think lol. ah man the search continues.

   I have a pretty good memory though, it did have that computer love sounding beat. but man idk why i love this song so much but Im stoked that I found it

   yea. There is a remix... a playas version.. and a radio/remix version.. and shiet. I checked the first two but didnt check the last one, then i was like it has to be it and it was! haha :)
