- The devil gives you one last beer to drink before he steals your soul (well... at least your taste buds) forever. Which one would you go with? Can you at least pare it down to a few choices?
- Which one would be your "all day drinking beer" that never gets old?
- Which is the best beer on a budget for a cheap-@ss like me?

1. Perish the thought Sac man…but at this moment in time it would have to be the following:
Pint from the pub:
Tricky this one, but I suppose either a pint of Castle Rock Pale Ale (see point 2) as it just never lets you down (but it would have to be from a Castle Rock brewery pub to get the best quality pint)…or a really good Chocolate Stout (as it would like a last pint and meal in one).
or if the devil is a real bad-ass and won't let me venture to the pub:
Bottle for home consumption:
Brewdog's limited brew 'Hello, My Name is Ingrid' (see photo above somewhere). It's glorious and an absolute delight on the taste buds…and a worthy last ale at 8.2%. The Brooklyn Brewery ‘Black Chocolate Stout’ would come a close second.
2. Castle Rock Harvest Pale. Supreme Beer of 2010, and at 3.8% it's perfect all day drinking material for a man of my years.
3. You should never buy cheap-ass beer! Buy less, but make sure it's quality. Less is more Sac...

it's been aging in an old wooden whiskey keg since november and apparently they spiked the cask with a couple bottles of Glenlivet before they buttoned 'er up...
craziest beer i've ever had, hands down. deeeeeeeeeluscious
had a definite 'port wine' kinda thing happening and i shudder to think of the final alcohol content as even original WW can clock in as high as 10%

10 Heads High - a 7.7% Imperial Red Ale loaded with American Hops:
MashTag - a 7.5% American Brown Ale loaded with New Zealand hops and aged on Hazelnuts and Oak chips:
