We're at the end of the year and I wanna see what your favorite hip-hop albums were this year.
I had been looking around the internet to see what some of these so-called hip-hop sites had to say, but most of them are influenced by the money-driven music industry.
So I wanna see what everyone on the forum would rate as their top ten.

Here's my top ten:

1. Phill Most Chill - All Cuts Recorded Raw
2. People Under the Stairs - Highlighter
3. Ugly Duckling - Moving at Breakneck Speed
4. Shinsight Trio - Moonlight Sunrise
5. Count Bass D and Insight - The Rist Takers
6. J. Rawls - The Hip-Hop Affect
7. Pseudo Intellectuals - Dope Grindwork
8. J-Live - S.P.T.A. Said Person of That Ability
9. DJ Cosm - Time and Space
10. Headnodic - Red Line Radio

too lazy to make a proper list, but off the top of my head, i would say these need to be on there as well:

K-Def- 'Night Shift'
Grap Luva- 'Neva Done'
J. Rocc- 'Some Cold Rock Stuf'
Exile- '4 Trk Mind'

that K-Def album is some seriously dope sh!t. highly recommended.
honourable mention for the Highlighter EP, if for 'Fishbucket Soundcheck' alone.

interested to see what the rest of y'all see as the best of ott-leven.

One of my favorite hip-hop albums this year has to be Onra - Chinoseries pt. 2

Here's a pretty good one

Not sure Pt 2 is better than the first but still dope Onra as always - the dude is ridiculously prolific. Did Long Distance come out last year? loved that album too

not sure if 7"'s counts as 'best albums of the year' (i'm guessing no)

but the five Damu the Fudgemunk put out this year are all DOPE+,
i just got the 2 newest ones (white vinyl!) in the mail today...

Oceanman, I've really liked all those albums you've posted. Wasn't Damu gonna release the new Y Society album in 2011. I thought that's what I had heard Insight say in some interview.
I also wasn't sure if I should include EPs. But if so, then I would include Rock La Flow's Flowgram Pt. 2.

that is what i heard... i know ReDef has a lot of stuff supposedly coming out this year, looking forward to all that!

sorry for sabotaging the Top Ten thread, i've been on a 45 kick lately and i got excited. maybe we need a "post ur new WAX" thread?

looking forward to checking out the music in this thread... so make with the lists PUTS army!
next week my lady goes back to work, and i will be trapped out here in the country fixing my new/very old house.
some new music will keep me rockin the home repair.
