Hey yall,
so I just had the most crazy thing happen to me and I am not counting my chickens before they hatch, but i wanted to share the excitement! lol
So I have been writing a hip hop song for the past few weeks.. its coming together and I am really proud of myself because its not some stupid song, it has meaning behind it.. (im rapping, not singing of course)
So i go onto twitter and I say "what should I do for the hook of my song: find someone to rap on it, sing, or find a sample.
So LuckyIam from Living Legends (sure most of yall have heard of em) follows me on twitter, and hes like "have me rap on it," Initially I was like no way.. and so i say "you just made my heart drop a little" joking around and we tweeted a few times but then we stopped.
So later that evening I email him saying "if there is ANY chance that you were kind of serious, please let me know" and hes like "I wouldn't joke like that, but you gotta be serious though :)" so.. we email back and forth a few times, and hes basically like "have something for me by the end of the week, I want to call you and hear you spit"
WTF yall.. is this real life?? Ill keep you updated, Im not getting over excited, but I had to share it with people who would appreciate it. I know a lot of my friends would probably think im joking cause im some little white girl from a small town but I love hip hop and if I could even just have ONE song with a guy from an underground hip hop group I LOVE and have seen in concert, I feel like i should jump on the opportunity. Never thought twitter would come through for me so much!
If something does get made though, I will definitely post it :)) Would love ya'll support
