   Don't know if anyone knew but Jimmy Castor passed away today after a battle against cancer.
   For me "Its Just Begun" was/is what hip hop all is about.
   Just doing my wack little top-rock to it now.

   Is it just me, or are we losing the originators of funk sorta quickly these days?

   We need homies like Double keeping this sh*t alive, 'cause I don't want Jimmy Castor and James Brown cursing us from beyond the grave for losing the funk and letting Glee-ified funk fakers run amuck. If G Clinton ever dies, we're in trouble.

   The time is ripe for a funk revival, we owe it to Jimmy Castor and the whole bunch.
