The mighty Yoyopo introduced me to this sick instrumental battle CD called 'Sound Clash at The Root Down' against will.i.am.
I'm absolutely loving the CD (that Jackson 5 beat is the sh!t) but I just need to know one thing, who actually won the battle?
Also are their any more copies about?

from the CD sounds like it was Thes. I say re-release it on Tres to the wider audience it deserves and include all of william's beats too, just so we all know what went down (not sure I want to hear all of that 2nd will beat though

Posts: 25Posted 20 years ago #I'd say Thes cleaned the floor with Will.i.am, and what sealed the deal was when he ripped on the BEP beat and the crowd went """AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!" when it finally occured tp them the source of the beat Thes was manipulating. Definitely a crowd pleaser, that one.
