Posted 20 years ago #pub is short for public house. and thats basically what it is - a big old house that sells beer, wine and usually food. pubs are alot more chilled than bars. bars have louder music and sell cocktails, larger and crisps (US chips!) its half way between a club and a pub! the definition lines are blurry, just like your sight when you walk out of one!

Posted 20 years ago #a couple of my buddies got fake ids but those cost a grip
-
Posted 20 years ago #In the UK you have to be 18 to drink. Fake ID's are about a £10 which is about $20.
-
Posted 20 years ago #A good fake ID here ranges anywhere from $50 to $200, to even $350. It depends on who you know. Some places are even scannning ID's to check for authenticity, which sucks for those who want to get one(me). I don't turn 21 for another year and a half...boo hoo I love my microbreweries damnit.

Posted 20 years ago #$350 !! f*** that! ive been drinking since about 14, and 16 in pubs. never had ID. im 23 now and NOW i get ID'd all the time!
-
Posted 20 years ago #Yeah that's what I said, I'm not gonna pay that much for them, but supposedly those $350 one's were even scannable, like you would scan them and your info would pop up. Essentially making the ID real and not fake...

Posted 20 years ago #Scannable?
Thats probably why they cost so much, here in the UK, your ID just has to look real you dont have to scan it. My brother got one through the post, just send a tenner and your order number in an envelope and youll get your ID in a few days. -
Posted 20 years ago #nice is there anyway you could hook us up with some info on how to go about getting one of those?

Gotta love it!
