   just saw the pics. did anybody knotice what drum machine they had onstage? looks like an mpc with a blue case

    that's the one. And yes, the soft pads of the 4000 would be nice on the chin but the SP12 is that classic ish right thurr..

    Do you use the SP-12 mainly for that gritty sound or something else?

    Hell yeah, SP-12's are supreme grit. Combine that with an s-950 and ooooooooo weeeee.
