   I keep getting the same message "CPU holding off on USB audio. Remove plugins, tracks, or increase the hardware buffer size etc etc.." when im using a dual processor G5, and have all my settings the way they should be.
   Anybody know anything about this?

   I don't think you'll get much help here, but increase your RAM.
   Or just turn off all other programs while using the Pro Tools.

   i got over a gig of ram in a g5
   and its dedicated so there's nothing running the background
   
   i think i got the problem solved though thanks for the input
