I MISSED SEEING PUTS IN VANCOUVER (blatant rant)

Ok. The boys were in my town last night.
Did I hear anything about it? Not till this morning.
Did I see any posters/flyers come across my eye sight? Nope.
Did I get any invites on facebook or see any mention that the P was in town? No. I didn't even know they were on tour at the moment.
Did I see any updates from the fan page come across my news feed? NO BECAUSE F*CKING FACEBOOK MAKES sh!t HARDER AND HARDER TO GET WHAT YOU ACTUALLY WANT IN LIEU OF F*CKING ADS FOR BEST BUY AND OTHER HORSE sh!t.

so I've missed one of my all time favorite must see groups once again. I'm going to go drink until I can't feel feelings anymore and hug my PUTS lps in the fetal position.

Man that sucks Frantiq, I too am going to be missing the New Years Eve show this 2012 in SLC and it makes me sick to my stomach even thinking on it. At least I know about it though... The only way we have known about the last few shows was by chance, checking all the local venues' set lists and seeing PUTS on the calendar... They really need somebody to help them with online updating, too much is falling through the cracks.

And on that note, I'll pound a drink and blaze a bowl tonight in your honor... It does feel like a death in the family when you miss a P show in your own town.

Oh nice! Sorry that you cant attend their show. Its my first time going to one of their shows. How was your first experience? If you don't mind me asking?

Really sorry to hear about that, Frantiq & SLC... I'm a little frustrated with the lack of PL70 updates too (especially the shows page). I usually just assume the homies are busy and keep trying to check local concert listings & Facebook, but I'm sure they could swoop right by S.F. and I wouldn't even know.

Thes has admitted before that exposure has always been one of their weaknesses though; they have to rely on ground game because they aren't big-name celebrities, and with the loss of Brendan on the site and their hardcore touring, they just seem too swamped sometimes to keep us notified. I've offered to update their site for them before, but I think they really want someone L.A.-based.

Keep your hopes alive, man.

I'd even be willing to keep a tour thread going (maybe YoYoPo could make it a sticky thread and keep it at the top) with dates and stuff.

Yah man, every time they have been in SLC they have always chilled at the bar and with the "people" that are there! From what others have described at the shows they have attended, it sounds as if this is pretty much how they roll. At the very least, you will be able to chat with them at the Merch table. Regardless, you will feel a personal connection with them while they are on stage due to the fact that you have found this forum and follow them like all the rest of us fiends...

Sactown - Something has got to be done ASAP. I can only imagine how many of the TRUE fans that aren't even hearing about the show until after the fact, if at all, like Frantiq... meh

Wow man thats amazing, I dont know what to tell them. I should tell them that I go on this forum often. Or like tell them what my favorite songs are and about life. I wanna have a good idea what to say because after this I might not see them for a long time. They dont visit NYC often. Know what I mean? What are some conversations you recommend I go with. Sorry for the questions lol
