First and formost I want to thank you guys for making another dope album.
Shortly after Chrismas though I came across a unique birthday present...Stepfather was leaked and I didnt think much of it. On your myspace page I saw that I could sign up for the street team and I did and I took 20 dollars from my savings account and bought a 3XL shirt from mooseshirts. By this time it was January and I was still itchin to hear the stepfather...I downloaded it and I first listened to 4 Dollar Afro...I had read off a web site that you guys made a false Stepfather album so by me listening to 4 dollar afro I thought I had the fake copy...I was kinda shocked though because I was thinking why would you guys put so much production and talent into something false. Even though at the time I was wrong, that mindset right there made me respect you guys a lot more. Before the leak was out I gave up on Hip Hop...Anything that came out was pretty much sh!t (mainstream atleast) There was good things every now and then but I turned to Drum and Bass and focused on that. Shortly after I thought the real leak I had was the false leak...I downloaded the false leak out of curiosity. The first track I listened to was "Breakdance Pants" I was feeling it for some reason and I was waiting for Double to drop in a hard drum line...Lol instead he busts outs with Baby brother baby brother. I was like oh sh!t! This whole time I had the real deal and thought it was fake. So when I got my street team flyers, cds, and stickers and gave them to whoever. Im also a graffiti writer and I've been putting up tons of sh!t because I thought this album was so dope. Everyone asks me now "why did you buy that people under the stars...yes stars cd if you've had it for 3 months??" I tell them its People Under the Stairs you f*** and learn how to read. When 4.18.06 came I wore my shirt with about 10 stickers on it to school...I gave out the snippet cd and to my surprise lots of people were feeling it. After school I asked everyone I could to take me to the record store but I had no ride and my car was broke...My grandma let me borrow her car @ 9pm and I bought 2 copies of the Stepfather.
I know I'm just rambling and sh!t but seriously thanks guys for having something GOOD to listen to.
