Posts: 92Posted 20 years ago #i personally liked the album a lot. I got into it today actually and have listened to it several times. First I would like to say that DM collaborations with Gorillaz were classic anything put out by that group is classic. You have to listen to this album from a different perspective which is that this definitely isn't a hip-hop album. If people hear "crazy" then everyone's assumptions is that it's gonna be a hip-hop album. You have to listen to this with open ears. It's real cool it's got a lot of elements you wouldn't think of meshing together. I'm not a fan of any of DM's projects but this is the one that I am really into. -

Posts: 3,618Posted 20 years ago #saw Gnarls on telly couple days ago. They had violins, a drummer, some backing singers and all! DM was hunched over a keyboard in the background. Also they were all wearing labcoats, bowties and these same glasses. Was interesting, especially when the presenters made out that gnarls barkley was just the singer (cee lo)... -

Posts: 384Posted 20 years ago #Ive known its been by Danger and C-lo, some of my friends really dug it for a short while, i tried to explain it was a two man show, it was hard to let them know who was behind the music on that

wasnt hip hop to me at all, just another pop rnb thing, but i didnt mind listening to it on the radio at all.. good dance tune for the ladies
