First off, I'm a newcomer to the site, so let me say that I'm impressed with the community here. Y'all are some of the most rabid fans I've seen in a minute (in a good sense) - I guess that speaks to the music as well.
Anyway, I'm not one to plug my own sh!t, but I figured in this case it's sort of warranted/unavoidable. I happen to run a rap / hip-hop podcast called the mixtape show at mixtapeshow.net. I got an email a bit ago from some of PUTS' people asking if I'd be interested in running a phone interview with Thes, so (having just finished listening to the record about twenty minutes prior) I said absolutely. I also got clearance to run a Stepfather track or two on the show - so if you haven't heard the record yet, go check the show out, then go buy the album cause it's definitely worth it.
ANYWAY. The interview. When I was looking around to find the site to link to for People Under The Stairs, I ran across this one, and found all y'all on the forum. Since y'all seem to be so active and way way way the f*** more up on PUTS than I am, I figured I'd open up the questions to you all. Not that you can't just hit dude up on the message board, but I thought it might be dope to grab some questions from y'all and have him answer them on the show.
So - if you have a question you'd like me to pose to Thes in the interview, I'll do my best to make it happen.
The interview will be happening Monday (tomorrow)! at about 10a or so PST, so you'll prolly want to get them in quick. The audio interview should be posted up on Friday, and will be freely available on the site, in iTunes, etc, so you can download it and listen to the answers.
Put any questions in here, I guess. If you have anything you need to ask me about, get at me.

If I could ask a question though... it'd be : 1) How was the Next Step, the P's first album, produced and mastered... just the mpc 3000, an 8-track and some mics? Cuz I heard something bout P.U.T.S. doing that whole album on an 8-track.. and that would be crazy cuz it has such good sound quality. Also, 2) has Double K ever held down a spot in LA? And lastly, 3) When you're doing a song Thes, how many records on average, would be used for the beat... 3/4/5?
That'd be dope if you could fit one of those in Dex. Thanks again man,

Interview went down already, I'm just waiting for Basement to hook a brother up with some beats so I can postproduce the joint. I'll post the interview up as soon as I can - prolly the end of this week.
