Anyone heard DJ Shadow's remix of Keane's "We Might As Well Be Strangers"?
I managed to pick it up today.
It's pretty mad by all accounts.
Real fast drum sequences and a bit of messing with the singers voice.
Fierce mix. Reckon if anyone else had tried this type of remix it would have been cheesey as f***, but Shadow seems to have pulled it off.

Posts: 4Posted 21 years ago #I'm not really feeling it. One of the first ever Shadow productions that I could do without. I enjoy certain parts of the arrangement because they remind me of a sort of British 80's sound but it sort of sounds like one of Paul Oakenfolds remixes of U2. A bit too rock trancey. The drums are ok at times but they sound a little too fake and a lot of the programming is weak.
