man thats harsh the police are never on your side when it counts ,
and always against you when you need them !
basically the police everywhere are pathetic .
im glad you got your stuff back , shame bout the cash tho!
hope your law suit goes swimmingly !

So after stayin' two days in jail I was released because they dropped the charges for these reansons not readin' me my rights, no reason to search me, and pinnin' an ounce on me that was found 10 yards away from me. I'm still not finished getting screwed yet. I asked were is my back pack, my radio, and my money ($300 cash). I was told they dont have it. So I was broke in Kansas and told I was inecent. So basicly I was robbed By the Douglas County police at this point. All my CDS are gone as well as my radio that Double and Thes had signed in Chicago. My CDs included my lessons collection 1 2 and 3, My keb Darge collection, My RJD2 Your Face and Your Knee Caps, and last but not least My whole People Under the Stairs collection NOT INCLUDING MITHAI but every thing else. Right now I'm Tryin' to get it all back but Im getttin' the run around. I'm home know in Chicago and It's makin' it alot harder to track my stuff down. Just thought I would tell my friends on the boards my horror story. If there are any lawyers that want to help me in this matter just post it up here so every one knows their rights. Right now me and 10 other kids that were wrongfuly arrested at the festival are filein' a class action suit agianst Douglas County so wish us good luck, also wish me luck in tryin' to find my collection.

Posts: 537Posted 16 years ago #Dussssstyy!!!! Im so sorry to hear about your misfortunes man!! That sounds f'king terrible!! Im glad you got some of your stuff back tho, if not the 300 bucks, the invaluable music collection and radio.
I wish you the best in the future, and if there is any way we can help out w/ the lawsuit or w/e just tell us

Posts: 334Posted 16 years ago #Later that year I was pulled over and told I had a warrent for my arrest stemming from that whole deal. I thought I was let out scott free but noooo.. I ended up havin' to deal with the whole thing via a lawyer and some visits back and forth to Lawrence KS. It was a bitch. I had to do 200 hours community service and pay out a total of 6k to get out of the whole mess. -

PERIOD--ive learned my lesson. i got pulled over once cuttin thru some small spec of a town in WIsconsin (on my way to a wedding). was told my license had expired (which it hadnt and i knew this obviously but hte cop just wanted to pull a bro over)--cop had it in for me. how do u pull someone over for no reason? then tell em BS? anyway, i was heated, i wanted to just drive away seriously--give em a reason to pull me over. i tell u, if i didnt have friends ridin along with me? who knows...its funny how these idiots can fabricate sh!t. while its sh!tty, ur lucky my friend--brothas get f***ed everyday with this sh!t. i have more stories but its the same ole song. -
